The product: best jacket i own for winter weather. I notice this jacket does not have enough reviews and i hope this review helps other MOS in their decision making. First the jacket is a navy blue - do not let the black color in picture deter you. Meyers uniforms puts the gold buttons for nypd on the shoulder and pockets along with the patches and any hash marks. The fleece liner is extremely warm around the wrists because it is snug.

I wear a small size and it fits perfect for me. I am 5'7, 165 lbs, chest size 38, medium build. 32x30 pants to those reading get a better approximation on body type.

Meyers uniforms is the absolute best. They have great customer service and are very reaponsive. 5 out of 5. I will always get my stuff with them even if it costs a little more because we have to do the right thing and support their business if we want others to continue doing the right thing.

This jacket is thicker and noticeably heavier than the jacket I was issued, but that weight translates to increased warmth. And unlike my issued jacket, it doesn't smell funny when it gets wet and stayed blue rather than turn purple after a single wash.
